The organizers — Achievement House and partners — truly did an outstanding job.
The event took place at the ART Mechanica Factory, and it was both colorful and visually striking.
The first half ran as a single track, while the second offered two parallel sessions.
The venue itself was transformed into a creative space filled with installations, artwork, and thematic stands — every detail was carefully thought out.
💫 What I Liked
✨ A sense of uniqueness in the content.
I attend conferences quite often, but here — there were no repetitions, no correlations with anything I’d seen before. That was impressive.
🎤 Charismatic speakers like Roman Kushnarev, Victoria Musiachenko, and many others.
💡 A brilliant talk by Olga Skidan — “Emotio vs Ratio: Finding the Balance Between Emotional and Rational Sides in Recruiting.”
It focused on what really matters in modern recruitment and how to stay balanced while still achieving results.
📚 I left with two books in hand:
- Yuri Sallenbacher – “Create Your Personal Brand”
- Travis Bradberry & Jean Greaves – “Emotional Intelligence 2.0”
⚠️ What I Didn’t Like
🧠 A lot of strong and high-quality content about recruitment, but not enough about Human Resources strategy and Talent Acquisition — I missed the metrics, frameworks, and innovation-focused sessions.
📊 There was a good attempt from Yevhen Bondarenko in his talk “HR Analytics: How to Speak the Same Language as Business.”
The challenge, however, is that such analytics require significant time, money, and expertise, and not every IT company is ready to invest that much.
✅ Summary
Definitely time well spent — engaging, creative, and full of energy.
I’ll absolutely be attending their next event in 2019.
